The Social Business Journal (SBJ)  is published by the Social Business Institute of the University of Tehran as a quarterly journal in the Persian language, with English abstracts. With a nationally recognized editorial board comprising distinguished Iranian scholars from leading domestic universities, the Journal of Social Business is regarded as a reputable academic journal. In order to introduce the journal to the international academic community, English abstracts of all published articles have been provided since the first issue.

According to the 2024 evaluation report on scientific journals issued by the Commission on Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the Journal of Social Business has been awarded a “B” ranking.

Furthermore, pursuant to Article 13 of the Press Law ratified on March 19, 1986, the publication license for the “Social Business Journal,” in the field of interdisciplinary studies and research (specialized), published in the Persian language on a quarterly basis under the ownership of the University of Tehran, was issued by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on January 6, 2025, under registration number 96902.


In line with the aims, vision, and policies of the journal, and with the objective of utilizing scientific capacities and expanding research collaboration, a memorandum of understanding has been concluded between the Social Business Journal and the Union of Scientific Associations of Natural Resources and Environment of Iran.

Pursuant to the resolution dated April 28, 2012, of the Research and Technology Council of the University of Tehran, in all research articles published in domestic and international journals that are authored under the supervision of a faculty member of the University of Tehran, students are not permitted to serve as the corresponding author.

Furthermore, in compliance with the same regulations, the journal employs the Samim-e Noor Similarity Checking System and the Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IRANDOC) to identify textual similarity and prevent redundant publication.
